Description
American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and acute care background for a Physical Rehabilitation unit.
Details
- Physical Rehabilitation unit setting
- Provides consultative and therapeutic services for patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders
- Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, 06:00-16:30
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current California Physical Therapy license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire and must be maintained
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include restoring function and preventing disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders
- Services performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital policy and applicable state and federal regulatory and licensing requirements
- Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or similar resource
