Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Dept travel position in Corsicana, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and Level IV trauma experience.

Details

• Works in a 14-bed Emergency Services department
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR: Medhost EDIS
• No on-call or block scheduling requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED nursing experience required
• Level IV trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs must be any solid color
• Parking is available in front of the hospital
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
