Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 6 months of current acute care Echo Tech experience and RCS or RDCS certification.

Details

• Echocardiography department within a main hospital building in Wichita, KS
• Unit staffed with 3–4 sonographers and uses GE Echo Machines
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• EMR system is Meditech; prior experience preferred
• Shift is Friday through Monday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10-hour days)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care experience as an Echo Technologist, with active experience within the last 6 months
• RCS or RDCS certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms with the ability to assess heart valves and blood pressure
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
