Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and ICU experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital respiratory therapy department in Fort Worth, TX.

Details

Hospital-based respiratory therapy department in Fort Worth, TX
NICU patient population with experience caring for neonates required
Patients span all age ranges
Procedures performed include ABG draws, intubation assistance, nebulizer treatments, MetaNeb, IPPB, and CPT
Preferred experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat
Meditech EMR in use
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable
Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience
NICU experience required
ICU experience required
ED experience required
Ability to draw ABGs required
Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

Black scrubs required and must be purchased by the candidate
Artificial nails, gel nails, and similar nail enhancements are not permitted
Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
Body art should be covered whenever possible
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Tuesday start dates required for this facility
