Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room/Surgery position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA.
Details
- Day shift position with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, scheduled 5x8s
- General Surgery unit within a hospital setting
- Weekend and on-call requirements apply
- Floating to other units or locations is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current NM RN license or valid Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing timely interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes
- Delegates and coordinates team assignments to support patient care activities
- Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Candidates who have previously worked (non-travel) at any CHRISTUS Health facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being considered
