Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum 50-mile distance from the facility.
Details
- Work is performed in a hospital PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) on the ground floor
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or compact state license required
- AHA certifications required and must be current (non-expired)
- PACU nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a hospital PACU setting
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- EMR experience should be noted in work history
