Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN OR Circulator with 1-2 years of experience and an active AZ or compact RN license for a 13-week travel assignment in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Details
- Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Joint Commission accredited, Level 3 Trauma and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Operating Room department handling 10 to 25 cases per day
- Case types include total joints (knee and hip, with MAKO robotics), spine ortho and neuro, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics
- Uses XI DaVinci robotic surgical equipment
- Meditech EHR system
- Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend, supported by a call team consisting of an RN, CSTFA, and CST
- On-call requirements vary based on staffing levels
- May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
- 1-2 years of OR circulating experience required
- AHA certifications required
Additional Information
- Circulate for a high-volume OR performing complex orthopedic, neuro, spine, and robotic surgical cases
- Weekend call may involve urgent cases such as XLIF procedures or total hip replacements for fracture patients
- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, hiking, and boating, with easy access to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate eligibility
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Must not be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
- Weekly orientation offered
