Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intensive Care Coronary Unit position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience, AHA certifications, and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

  • Intensive Care Coronary Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
  • Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No on-call requirements
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • EMR: Epic (charting experience relevant)

Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
  • Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must not expire prior to start date
  • ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health teaching, counseling, and treatment plan monitoring
  • Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
  • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
  • Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
