Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Butte, MT, requiring 1-2 years of ED experience, active MT or compact RN license, and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
  • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
  • Epic EMR used for charting
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — all must not expire prior to assignment start
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients, including health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
  • Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
  • Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
  • BSN and specialty certification preferred but not required
