Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience, with the ability to care for pediatric patients, working nights in a Montana hospital.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Candidate should be capable of caring for pediatric patients in addition to a general Med/Surg population
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
