Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Miles City, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent employees of any Intermountain facility must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
