Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Beckley, WV at a Level III trauma facility.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department within a 300-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level III trauma center
• Serves patients of all ages
• Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• 36 hours per week with no scheduled weekend hours
• On-call and float requirements as needed
• Uses GE NM360 imaging equipment
• Meditech EHR
• Orientation held biweekly on Wednesdays

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program required
• NMTCB certification required
• AHA BLS required
• State licensure/certification required to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Tech in WV, if applicable
• Proficiency in cardiac stress testing, venipuncture, and general nuclear medicine studies
• Must possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac stress testing, venipuncture, and general nuclear medicine studies
• Black scrubs required; t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Holiday coverage may be required
