Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) Nursery night shift position requiring an Oklahoma or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

• Hospital-based LDRP Nursery unit
• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• No float requirements
• No call requirements specified

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma State or Compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) experience
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care to assigned patients
• Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Performs duties in a manner consistent with the facility's mission, values, and service standards
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those living within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are restricted to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to another facility outside the radius
