Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with an active Ohio license for an evening shift, 13-week travel assignment at an acute care facility in Ohio.
Details
- Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
- Evening shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 32 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
Requirements
- Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license required (license required if applicable)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity
Additional Information
- Responsible for delivering respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider order
- Some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is expected
- Epic EMR experience is beneficial for this role
