Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a day-shift role, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Details

  • Inpatient and outpatient work settings
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • 1:1 patient ratios
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Uses Pyxis medication system
  • Cerner charting system experience required
  • 16 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mammography Technologist required
  • ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, and Stereotactic Biopsy
  • Experience with Hologic 3D equipment
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Valid state license required if applicable
  • Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
  • Candidates must be able to work with adult and geriatric patient populations

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Black scrubs required for the unit
  • Local candidates are not accepted
  • Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
  • COVID vaccination acknowledgment required to work at this facility
