Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU/pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a busy pediatric children's hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Details
- 13-week assignment at a busy pediatric hospital with possibility of extension
- NICU unit; pediatric patient population
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Floating required to sister facilities, ED, and ICU
- Holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR required
- Equipment experience required: V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
- Level I Trauma setting
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
- Pediatric experience required
- Current, active GA Respiratory Care Professional license required (license in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable)
- Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA only)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with FM-Intermediate/Advanced ventilators, triage, and Level I Trauma required
- Copy of diploma or associate's degree program with RRT credentials required for consideration
- Two supervisor-level or higher professional references completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Recent travel experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted if resume demonstrates required skills
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in a NICU setting
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric critical care team with float responsibilities across sister facilities, ED, and ICU
- This is a nicotine-free campus; candidates will be tested for cotinine/nicotine
- Minimal to no RTO; RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
- A compliance documentation deadline applies prior to start date — candidates should plan accordingly
