Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a busy children's hospital in Georgia.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting with work in Pediatric Critical Care and general Pediatrics units
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Floating required to a sister facility, ED, and ICU
- Holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR required
- Equipment includes V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
- 13-week assignment with possible extension
Requirements
- Active GA Respiratory Care Professional license required; license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current RRT credential with proof of certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
- Pediatric experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with FM-Intermediate/Advanced ventilator management, triage, and Level I Trauma required
- Experience with V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow required
- Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only)
- Copy of diploma or Associate's degree with RRT credentials required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
- Prior travel experience preferred
- This facility tests for cotinine/nicotine; candidates must be comfortable working on a nicotine-free campus
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted if their resume demonstrates the required skills
- RTO dates must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal to no RTO is expected
- A compliance hard documentation deadline applies 7 business days prior to start date with no exceptions
- A medication pass/fail test is administered; candidates who do not pass on the second attempt may be released
- All certifications must be active and in hand at time of consideration — pending certifications are not accepted
