Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a NICU night shift position at a busy pediatric hospital in Georgia.

Details

• NICU unit at a busy pediatric hospital
• Pediatric patient population including NICU, ED, and ICU settings
• Floating required to a sister facility, ED, and ICU
• Uses ventilators including V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Holiday coverage required
• Minimal to no RTO available for this assignment
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required with proof of certification
• Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Copy of diploma or Associate's degree in a respiratory care program with RRT credentials required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) — all must be active at time of consideration
• Experience with FM (Intermediate/Advanced), ventilator management, and triage required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across NICU, ICU, and ED settings as needed
• Must be willing to float to a sister facility
• Prior travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
