Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist (RCIS) requiring 5+ years of experience and ARRT certification for a high-volume cath lab.
Details
- Cardiac catheterization lab with 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all upgraded within the past 1-5 years
- 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient prep and recovery
- Epic used for primary charting; Siemens Sensis system used for hemodynamics measurements
- Averages over 30 cases per day, ranging from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
- Schedule of (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, with no weekend or holiday shifts worked
- Expect 1-3 weeknight calls total and possibly 1 weekend call over the 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- 2+ years experience as a Rad Tech required
- 1+ years of travel experience required
- ARRT and RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Epic charting experience required
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Serve as a critical member of the patient care team, collaborating with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Promote patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Local candidates accepted with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility
