Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a night shift contract at an acute care hospital in Golden, CO.

Details

• Hospital radiology department setting
• 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday from 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM
• Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient transfers and contrast administration
• Submits images and clinical information to Radiologists for interpretation
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (R) registration required
• CT certification required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date
• Active state license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include positioning and immobilizing patients, evaluating image quality, preparing and administering contrast per Radiologist protocol, and following radiation safety measures (ALARA)
• Supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting
• Practices sterile technique and adheres to infection prevention policies
• A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment; candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a prior employer when available
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
