Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT and X-Ray certification for a night shift, weekend-focused travel contract at an acute care hospital in Lake City, FL.
Details
- Position is based in the CT/Radiology department of a 91-bed acute care hospital in Lake City, FL
- Duties include CT and X-Ray imaging; note that X-Ray volume may be higher than typical for travelers depending on daily staffing and patient volume
- Equipment used is GE; documentation systems include Meditech and PACS
- Two scheduling options available: 36 hours Friday–Sunday 1:00 PM–1:00 AM, or 40 hours Friday–Monday 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Night shift hours run 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required, with active experience in the role within the last 6 months
- ARRT certification in both CT and X-Ray required
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for Florida placements
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Black scrubs are required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited hospital and the area's only accredited Chest Pain Hospital and only facility offering interventional cardiology
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
