Description
American Traveler is hiring a PCU/IMCU RN for a night shift float pool position requiring cardiac experience and BLS/ACLS certification at a Level 1 trauma center.
Details
- Float pool position covering all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:3-4
- Cares for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P cases
- Manages cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
- May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Uses Epic EMR
- Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling is not typically approved
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sized facility required
- High-acuity, large-volume trauma hospital experience required
- Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations in high-pressure trauma environments required
- Epic EMR experience required

- Level 1 trauma center handling complex and high-acuity cases
- Minimal RTO availability
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate
