Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient facility in California, requiring ARRT (Mammography) certification and a minimum of 2 years of mammography experience.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Procedures include screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and 3D mammography
- Hologic 3D equipment used
- Epic EMR (preferred)
- 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with Saturday rotation as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required
- ARRT (M) certification required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- CA CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Proficiency with 3D mammography, digital mammography, screening and diagnostic mammogram procedures
- Experience with Hologic 3D equipment preferred
Additional Information
- Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures including 3D, digital, screening, and diagnostic mammograms
- Works independently using sound clinical judgment to deliver accurate, timely imaging results
- Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and care teams
- May orient other staff to the department
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested per contract; only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract
- Holidays covered include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- Former travelers/employees must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
