Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 prior travel contracts.

• Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend or based on department needs
• Every other holiday rotating with regular staff
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• At least 2 prior travel contracts required
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
• Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to critical, psychiatric, and pediatric ED patients
• Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety
• Must reside outside the facility's radius rule to qualify for full travel rate
• Local candidates within the radius may be considered at a reduced rate
