Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department (Trauma) position requiring 3+ years of ED experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
13-week assignment with night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
Uses Epic EMR
May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license required
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
NIH Stroke Scale certification required, updated per group schedule
Minimum 3 years of travel ED experience, or 5+ years in a large ED without travel experience required
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
Ascension MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training recommended, 8-hour course updated every 2 years
Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
Travelers should discuss assignment extension with management approximately 45 days before end date
