Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department night shift position requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department setting in a large hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Floating may be required within skill set to other units onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
Requirements
- Active WI or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued): BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Additional certifications required: TNCC (renewed every 4 years), NIH Stroke Scale certification (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
- Minimum 3 years of ED experience required; candidates without travel experience must have 5+ years in a large ED
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred for candidates with fewer than 5 years of ED experience
- US Social Security Number required; must provide a valid US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification is optional but encouraged; online training links are available through Crisis Prevention Management or IFCPP
- Local candidates are accepted, but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
