Description
American Traveler is hiring a Certified Hand Therapist (OT - Outpatient) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at an academic orthopaedic center in Utah.
Details
- Outpatient occupational therapy position within a university orthopaedic setting
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- 13-week contract
- Orthopaedic-focused patient population
Requirements
- Current OT license required; Utah license required prior to start date (pending license accepted at time of consideration)
- NBCOT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
- Proficiency in activities of daily living (ADLs), orthotics, modalities, and manual therapies
- Experience with electrical stimulation, TENS, ultrasound, edema massage, and biofeedback preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Previous full-time employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Orientation modules are completed on the first day and typically take approximately 2 hours
