Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital in Rushville, IL, covering both adult and pediatric med/surg patients on a 13-week contract.

• Hospital setting — Critical Access Hospital serving a rural community
• Med/Surg unit covering both adult and pediatric patient populations
• 3×12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of start
• Med/Surg or ED experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment and reassessment, medication administration, IV and central line management, lab and diagnostic monitoring, and patient/family education
• Charge nurse duties may be assigned, including supervision of LPNs and nursing assistants
