Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT accepted) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift assignment in a hospital respiratory department.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Weekend shifts as needed
- May float to other CCF facilities as needed
Requirements
- CRT or RRT accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- NBRC certification required, active and in hand
- BLS certification required
- Ohio license required in hand at time of submittal, if applicable
- Two professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
- Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually
- Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free environment
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics support within the hospital setting
- Complete pre-start and annual training modules as required by the facility
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
- Facility does not accept any license background hits
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- First-time travelers considered as travel experience is not required
- Extensions with this client permitted up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
- Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
