Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT accepted) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift assignment in a hospital respiratory department.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed

Requirements

• CRT or RRT accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand
• BLS certification required
• Ohio license required in hand at time of submittal, if applicable
• Two professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free environment

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics support within the hospital setting
• Complete pre-start and annual training modules as required by the facility
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Facility does not accept any license background hits
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers considered as travel experience is not required
• Extensions with this client permitted up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
