Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and day shift availability including every third weekend.
Details
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital system
- Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (0630–1900)
- 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE)
- Every third weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Prior skilled nursing or sub-acute care experience required
- Education verification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice acts
- Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
- Document care according to established standards
