Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a Day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of ultrasound experience and fluency in vascular studies.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 251 beds providing 24-hour emergency, diagnostic, preventive and restorative care
• Provides ultrasound coverage for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Estimated caseload of 8-12 exams per day
• Uses GE E9, E10, S8, Parks Flow Lab equipment, and trophon for high-level disinfection
• EMR system is Epic
• Day shift schedule Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM at an offsite location
• No weekend shifts required
• No call requirements for this assignment
• No mandatory floating, though additional shifts may be available at the main hospital for vacation coverage support

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of ultrasound experience required
• Must be fluent in vascular studies
• ARDMS certification required with OB/GYN and Abdomen specialty certifications
• RVT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to work independently
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with exemptions subject to client approval

• Deliver ultrasound coverage across ED, inpatient, and outpatient services

• Facility earned an A grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grade
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local candidate rate reduction and contract limitations
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, with hours to be made up during the assignment
