Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a compact/OK RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Med/Surg unit of a 25-bed hospital department
- Care for inpatient and sling bed patient populations
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 shifts
- Required to work every other weekend (7a-7p)
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or OK State) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Self-motivated personality fit preferred
- Black scrubs required
- Unnatural nail styles and unnatural hair colors not permitted
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to inpatient and sling bed Med/Surg patients
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to local candidate rules
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
