Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient General Surgery position on a busy Ortho/Urology unit, requiring active MA licensure and prior Level 1 trauma experience.

Details

36-bed adult inpatient Ortho/Urology surgical unit
Cares for orthopedic and urologic patients, both pre- and post-surgical intervention
Patients admitted from the Emergency Department, front door, or clinical admissions
13-week assignment with day/night rotating shifts
36 hours per week
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
2+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience required
1+ years of travel nursing experience required
Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care to surgical, orthopedic, and urologic inpatients
Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be eligible, at a reduced rate
RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
