Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Interventional Radiology position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ACLS, BLS, and sedation experience, with call responsibilities.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (7:00am–5:30pm)
- On-call required approximately 10–14 days per month
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used in this position
- Sedation experience is required for this role
Requirements
- Active NE state RN license or Compact (NLC) RN license — active at time of consideration, pending licenses not accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — pending certifications not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Neuro IR experience preferred; candidates with standard IR experience who are willing to train in Neuro IR will be considered
- Sedation experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as verified by driver's license
Additional Information
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year are not eligible — candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- A pass/fail open-book exam on skills learned during orientation is required; a minimum score of 90% is required to pass
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments — refusal to remove them may result to contract termination
- Orientation is 12 hours
