Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 2+ years of experience and documented congenital heart experience for a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Position based in the Heart Station department at a pediatric medical center
• Pediatric echocardiography specialty with a focus on congenital heart cases
• 8-hour day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call required approximately every 11th weekend (about one weekend of call per assignment)
• Weekday call may also be required approximately every 11th weekday (about six weekday call shifts per assignment)
• A portion of call responsibilities may take place at an affiliated facility (UAMS)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience required
• Documented notation of congenital heart experience required
• License required if applicable
• Must pass a fit test and be free of facial hair unless for religious accommodation
• Flu vaccination required prior to start with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Must test negative for nicotine
