Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 2+ years of experience and documented congenital heart experience for a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Position based in the Heart Station department at a pediatric medical center
- Pediatric echocardiography specialty with a focus on congenital heart cases
- 8-hour day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Call required approximately every 11th weekend (about one weekend of call per assignment)
- Weekday call may also be required approximately every 11th weekday (about six weekday call shifts per assignment)
- A portion of call responsibilities may take place at an affiliated facility (UAMS)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist required
- Pediatric echocardiography experience required
- Documented notation of congenital heart experience required
- License required if applicable
- Must pass a fit test and be free of facial hair unless for religious accommodation
- Flu vaccination required prior to start with no exemptions or declinations accepted
- Must test negative for nicotine
