Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment requiring one weekend shift per month.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation setting with a 15-bed unit
- Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Required to work one weekend per month
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Social Security Number and a valid US home address required for consideration
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive deficits in an inpatient rehab setting
- Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and families
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
