Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of MRI experience and ARRT (R)(MR) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in New Jersey.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital MRI department
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• One holiday required during the contract
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR — experience required
• GE and PACS equipment used; Siemens preferred
• Potential to float to affiliated campuses at Jefferson Stratford and Jefferson Cherry Hill

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required
• Current BLS required
• NJ license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with a broad range of MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging (MR Angio, MR Aortogram, MR Cardiac)
• Experience with GE and PACS systems required; Siemens preferred
• Skills in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV insertion, and radiation safety required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration — RTO requests after submission will not be accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a local rate differential
• A pass/fail clinical exam is required for clearance; candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts to pass
• PA Fingerprints are required and results can take up to 2 weeks to process — candidates without valid results on file must complete fingerprinting at the earliest available date
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Black scrubs required
