Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute therapy services assignment treating inpatient and outpatient populations in Guthrie, OK.

Details

• Day shift position, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with flexible scheduling (5x8s or 4x10s)
• Inpatient and outpatient physical therapy setting within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes neurological and orthopedic diagnoses; wound care is also possible
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• EMR: Epic
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient PT experience is required
• Must be able to work under limited supervision and make rational, data-driven clinical decisions
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of inpatient and outpatient patients with neurological, orthopedic, and wound care diagnoses
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided
• Black scrubs required
