Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring EP procedure experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a SC or compact RN license.

Details

  • EP Lab setting within a hospital environment
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Late stay required as needed
  • On-call responsibilities may be required
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required; pending license will be considered if obtained prior to start
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • EP procedure experience required, or strong comfort level with EP procedures
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Previous permanent staff of the SRHS health system are not eligible to return as travelers
  • A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation; candidates have one opportunity to pass
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after the initial submission will not be considered
  • Attendance policy: missing more than two shifts during the 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and cancellation
