Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/IR RN with a compact or PA RN license for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring on-call coverage.

Details

• Hospital-based Cath Lab unit with Interventional Radiology responsibilities
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
• On-call required to cover off-shifts, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed
• May involve care of COVID-19 patients
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or PA state license required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with a range of vascular, GI, and GU interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, TIPS, and dialysis graft interventions
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring

Additional Information

• Perform Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures including vascular, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary studies
• Assist with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Maximum RTO of 7 days during the contract
• Must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration; local candidates may be offered a lower pay rate
• Travel pairs may be considered, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
• First-time travelers may be considered
