Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift contract with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
Details
- MRI department at an acute care hospital
- Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- 26-week contract preferred; 13-week minimum will be considered
- Call and holiday coverage as negotiated with the department
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (R or MR) or ARMRIT certification required; candidates holding only ARRT R must also hold a TX Radiology license — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Travel experience highly preferred
- Must reside more than 110 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates holding ARRT R and/or ARRT MR are not required to hold a TX Radiology license
- A facility-administered drug screen upon arrival is mandatory and includes marijuana; a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
