Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 1 year of recent experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment in Brownsville, TX.
Details
- Radiology department in a 214-bed acute care hospital
- Very busy department requiring 24/7 coverage with a team of 11 technologists
- Procedures include all standard X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging
- GE imaging equipment used on-site
- Meditech EMR system
- Monday through Friday, evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Weekend shifts may be required depending on scheduling needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology technologist experience (allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months)
- Active ARRT registry required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Bilingual candidates are preferred and will be given priority consideration
- Scrubs must be hunter green
- Team-oriented candidates are the best fit for this department
