Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring 2+ years of OR RN experience and a CA RN license.

- Works day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities, including reassignment within a 75+ mile radius if resource meets job specifications
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN required
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Extensive experience as an OR RN Circulator in GYN, General Surgery, OHNS, Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain, and Robotic procedures required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Experience circulating Ophthalmology procedures preferred
- Scrub experience in at least two lines of business preferred
- Completed references (2 from most recent employer) required for consideration
Additional Information
- Circulate a wide range of surgical procedures including GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Oral, and Robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Xi and SP systems)
- Any previous employment history with any University of California medical facility (or acquired facilities) must be disclosed for a rehire eligibility check
- RTO must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract; RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position due to travel experience requirement
