Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Details

• Position is in an outpatient services setting covering Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pre-Operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week with a variable schedule
• Shared on-call rotation required
• Floating throughout the entire Outpatient Services area is expected

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required
• Strong Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II recovery skills required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include perioperative nursing care, peri-operative patient education, and recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Nursing assessment skills applied across a broad range of outpatient surgical and procedural settings
• 13-week contract
