Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room for a weeknight-only assignment requiring 1+ years of OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Weeknight shift schedule, 1900 to 0700, no weekends required
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• No call shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or Compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• 1+ years of OR nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed and monitor ongoing therapy and treatment plans
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
