Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position in a rehabilitation unit, requiring 1+ years of acute care nursing experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• in Rute in an acute rehabilitation unit within a 95-licensed-bed hospital
• 10-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury diagnoses
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required (weekend nights are Fri/Sat)
• No on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg as needed by the hospital

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Rehabilitation experience, including GG scoring documentation, preferred
• RN degree required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients recovering from orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, and traumatic injuries
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team in a teamwork-focused environment
• Any scrub color is acceptable for this unit
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate consideration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
