Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level II Nursery and Postpartum position in Colorado, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS.

Details

• Hospital-based Mother Baby unit covering antepartum, labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, and Level II Nursery care
• Patient population includes antepartum patients, laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and well newborns through Level II Nursery acuity
• Rotating shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or from a valid compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and ACLS
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for antepartum, laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients, as well as providing lactation education and family-centered care for well newborns and Level II Nursery patients
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Delivers patient education to support informed healthcare choices and promote wellness
• Colorado CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention and Support) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly to allow processing time
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
