Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma Center experience and TNCC certification.

Details

  • ,1 Trauma Center within a teaching hospital
  • 228 staffed bed facility
  • Patient ratio of 1:4-5
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:30 to 8:00
  • Required to work every other weekend (EOW) and well as designated holidays
  • No floating between like units required, though floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is possible
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Uses Cerner Sorian (1st generation) charting system

Requirements

  • ) R|=
  • , states required Certifiedications:BLS: (Lls (ACLS), BLS, TCNC cert(PALS certification preferferred)
  • years years of RN Department nursing experience required required
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required (with candidates without Level I trauma experience will not be considered)
  • Cerner charting system experience preferred
  • proficiency in IVIV, phlebotomy, and central line care/management
  • Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
  • Triage skills required
  • Two supervisor references required for consideration
  • Must not have been previously employed at this facility within the last year to be eligible

  • Royports part of a collicalaborative care team in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma care setting
