Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN credentialing and at least 1 year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
Details
- Work in a Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics department within a hospital setting
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester patients
- Utilize GE Voluson E8, E10, and Expert 22 ultrasound systems
- Uses Epic EHR and ViewPoint imaging storage and reporting system
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
- Potential to float within scope if needed
Requirements
- ARDMS credential in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- BSN preferred
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound protocols
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Active VA or compact state license required at time of submission, if applicable
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Facility maintains a natural nail policy
- Facility is a drug, tobacco, and smoke-free workplace
- Candidates must complete required orientation modules during their first week on the unit
- Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and are subject to manager approval, with no time off granted during the first week of assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
