Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro experience for a 13-week (or longer) day shift assignment requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department
- Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- Weekend coverage supported by a rotating on-call system among 6-8 staff members
- On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily, supported by primary and backup call technologists
- 13 to 26 week contract options available
- May be required to float to other units or campuses per facility policy based on qualifications and demonstrated competencies
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
- ARRT-R certification required, ARRT-VI preferred
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiography State License required if applicable
- 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Neuro experience required
- Proficiency operating and maintaining PACS equipment
- Skills in NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures across a variety of patient populations
- Orientation is held every Monday
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
