Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro experience for a 13-week (or longer) day shift assignment requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department
  • Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday
  • Weekend coverage supported by a rotating on-call system among 6-8 staff members
  • On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily, supported by primary and backup call technologists
  • 13 to 26 week contract options available
  • May be required to float to other units or campuses per facility policy based on qualifications and demonstrated competencies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
  • ARRT-R certification required, ARRT-VI preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • SC Radiography State License required if applicable
  • 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
  • Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Neuro experience required
  • Proficiency operating and maintaining PACS equipment
  • Skills in NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred

Additional Information

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures across a variety of patient populations
  • Orientation is held every Monday
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this role
