Description
American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform abdominal, pelvic, soft tissue, DVT, testicular, and thyroid exams at a critical access hospital.
Details
- Work in the Radiology - Main Dept at a critical access hospital
- 8-bed ED and 14-bed critical access hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Perform exams including abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, DVT, testicle, and thyroid; carotid experience a plus
- Uses Epic EMR
- 3x12-hour day shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:15 AM to 7:15 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- BLS certification (AHA only) required
- ARRT certification required
- WV Cares certification required
- License required if applicable
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic, soft tissue, DVT, testicular, and thyroid studies
- Carotid ultrasound experience is a plus
- Caribbean Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
- Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
